Shanghumukham Beach; a pleasant spot

Shanghumugham Beach on the Western part of Thiruvananthapuram city in Kerala is one of the favourite tourist spots. The huge sculpture of a 'Nymph' (Jalakanyaka) is one of the greatest attraction in the beach.
Shanghumugham Beach is really a beautiful beach to see watch the sun go down the horizon.
The Thiruvananthapuram International Airport and a flying club are located near to the beach.

While in the Shanghumugham Beach, you can watch fishermen launching their catamarans out into the sea.
