A readitional Kerala Sadya (feast): The Kerala ‘Sadya’ (feast) is a vegetarian banquet served in a banana leaf. Boiled rice is served with at least 12 varieties of curries (dishes). This is followed by two varieties of ‘payasam’ (sweet pudding). Sadya is an integral part of the celebrations in Kerala.
