Mesmerising Alappuzha beach

Arabian Sea on the west and a vast network of lakes, lagoons and rivers criss-crossing, Alappuzha is one of the most beautiful beaches in Kerala and much frequented by beach lovers. Well, though Alappuzha has grown to be a Backwater Tourist Centre, its beaches are still attractive with its immense beauty.

One of the greatest attractions in Alappuzha beach is the pier, which extends into the sea, is over 135 years old. Vijaya Beach Park is a place hat one should have to visit where you can have boating. There is also a children's park with toy train and bicycles. The old lighthouse is greatly admired by visitors.

Fondly called as the Venice of the East because of its striking similarity between the two, Alappuzha is a place intricate with backwaters, canals and bridges.

Palm fringed white sands, you can just walk around the silver sands or lie down in the palm groves. Just relax your soul here in the cool breeze that engulfs Alappuzha. It is really a great experience here at Alappuzha beach and one should never miss it.
Apart from the pristine beauty of the beaches, you can indulge in a variety of water sports like surfing and parasailing. Alappuzha provides some of the best of aqua-sport equipment such as water-scooters and high-speed boats.
